Product details description

1. Prepare the Site
Clear the area: Remove all debris, vegetative cover, and unnecessary soil from the area where the geocell will be placed.
Create a suitable base: If needed, replace the removed soil with materials that meet project requirements and complete any necessary earthwork.
2. Deploy and Anchor the Geocell
Unfold and orient: Unfold the collapsed geocell panels and lay them on the prepared surface, aligning them in the direction of the slope or load.
Secure the top edge: Anchor the top edge of the geocell to the crest of the slope using methods like stakes, pins, or anchor trenches.
Stretch and align: Stretch the geocell panels down the slope to achieve the desired shape and size, ensuring they are aligned and form a continuous surface.
Connect panels (if necessary): If multiple panels are needed, join them together by stapling or using other fastening methods.
Install anchors (for slopes): For slope protection, install tendons or other anchoring systems at the toe of the slope, attaching them to the geocell every few cells.
3. Infill the Cells
Choose the right material: Select infill material based on the project’s soil properties and needs.
Fill carefully: Using a dump truck or front-end loader, carefully fill the cells to avoid damaging them with a high drop height.
Overfill slightly: Fill the cells a little higher than the geocell walls to allow for settling and compaction.
4. Compact and Finish
Compact the fill: Use an appropriate method to compact the infill material within the cells, ensuring it is done without damaging the geocell.
Cover the geocell: Make sure the geocell is completely covered after infilling to protect it from prolonged exposure to sunlight and the elements.
